We have changed our schedule for 2017 to serve your family better.  Our teachers will no longer take individual vacations. Instead, the school will be closed and no lessons will be taught on the following days:

November 21-24 Thanksgiving
 
December 25-30 Christmas

​Billy Pettinger

Which instruments do you teach at Musicology?
Piano, guitar and voice. We can work on songwriting as well.
 
How long have you been teaching music? Since 2012.
 
What do you like the most about playing music? Creating new songs and sounds that have the potential to last and affect people’s lives forever.
 
 
What is your favorite type of music?
Every kind, especially music that’s heavy on melody, including pop, folk, anything on oldies radio, old school R&B, and classical dudes like Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.  I’m secretly a huge Disney nerd, too, so I love every Disney Princess theme song. Shhh, no telling!
 
What are your hobbies, besides music?
I paint, mostly robots.  I like books, movies, eating food, sending postcards and traveling.
 
What is your favorite kind of food?
Every food, especially Indian, Thai, Japanese, Italian, Greek…everything!  Every food is good food!
 
Do you have any pets?
I have an Australian Cattle Dog mix named Pizza, a fish named Henry and a hedgehog named Eleanor Prickly.
