What's Happening at Musicology: Wow! What a great turn out to our Open House last month. A big shout out of thanks goes to all the performers who braved the heat and rocked out. We currently have a slide show of the day on our website, check it out at musicologyschoolofmusic.com . We would also like to thank all of our teachers who came and helped out in various ways throughout the day. The day was a complete success. Big Day for the School: Speaking of success, August 25th marked a historic day in the life of Musicology. When we moved into our new facility, our year-end goal was to have 300 students enrolled at the school. On the 25th, we enrolled our three hundredth student. We completely recognize that we could not have achieved this goal without you the student. We would like to thank the many students who have taken advantage of our referral policy and referred their friends and family and received $23 off their next month's tuition. Fall Recitals are now on the Books. Musicology is excited to announce its fall recital schedule. This fall we will be splitting our recitals into age groups. 14 - Adult will be Sunday September 21st at 2:00 pm & 4:00pm. The under 14 recital will be Sunday October 19th at 2:00pm & 4:00pm. This recital will be a costume party. Dress as your favorite musical star or a character from the song that you will be performing. So if you play the song Iron Man you could dress as my favorite super hero Tony Stark. If you play or sing the theme from Cinderella then you can and dress like her. It should be a fun day filled with many memories. Performance Opportunity: Redstone Village, (an assisted living community) has asked Musicology to bring our students on Sunday November 9th at 2:00pm, to performing for their clients. If you are interested in this unique performance opportunity please talk to your teacher this month and then sign up on line on our website. We hope the fall semester has started off great for you.
