Which instruments do you teach at Musicology?
Piano, Voice and Guitar
 
How long have you been teaching music?
15 years
 
What do you like the most about teaching music?
Seeing my students excel, watching their confidence grow,
and the smiles that come after they finish their recital
pieces they were so nervous about:)
 
What is your favorite type of music?
My favorite genre is probably classic rock, with some blue grass,
and jazz sprinkled in. However, I'm a firm believer that a good
musician should at least have some appreciation for all styles.
Plus, my husband is musically add, so we rarely stay on one station
for more than one song.
 
What are your hobbies, besides music?
Knitting, crocheting, reading, splashing in muddy puddles with my
daughter, cooking, PC gaming, and dance parties in the living room. 
 
What is your favorite kind of food?
Mexican, and pizza...unless coffee could be considered a food group....
 
Do you have any children?
Yes! I have a 3 year old daughter.

Tuition Increase

FOR STUDENTS OF MUSICOLOGY THAT ENROLLED PRIOR TO JUNE 2017
Thank you for continuing to choose Musicology!
Due to an increase in our operating costs, we will be increasing our tuition for existing clients to $100, beginning October 1, 2017. Since our last increase two years ago, our rent has doubled and our monthly expenses have increased 43%. For Current students, the sibling discount will be $4 more than what you are currently paying, depending on which rate you currently have. Your tuition will still include the Musical Ladder System (certificates, wristbands and trophies), Student Showcases and opportunities to perform in the community.

Cancellations and Make-Ups

​For any lessons missed by a teacher, the school will attempt to provide a substitute teacher. If a substitute teacher is unavailable, a private makeup lesson with the teacher will be scheduled promptly. For any lesson missed by a student, the school holds one-hour group make up classes. To sign up for a make up class, contact the office or sign up online at musicologyhuntsville.com. Do not contact the instructor for a date and time.

If you cannot attend one of your lessons, please contact us as soon as possible. Missed lessons that are not canceled in advance are forfeited. Students who cancel a lesson with notice are eligible for a group make-up lesson.
