Musicology School of Music 2017 Calendar We have changed our schedule for 2017 to serve your family better. Our teachers will no longer take individual vacations. Instead, the school will be closed and no lessons will be taught on the following days: July 4-8 Independence Day September 4 Labor Day November 21-24 Thanksgiving December 25-30 Christmas Please make a note of theses dates on your calendar. So, if you need books contact the front desk or let your teacher know and we will get them transferred over and delivered to the Madison campus for you! Which instruments do you teach at Musicology? Piano and voice How long have you been teaching music? A long time! What do you like the most about teaching music? Making music is very rewarding for me. I enjoy learning to sing or play music that I really like. I want my students to experience the joy of making music. I know that many of us hear music in our heads but we can’t express it outward because of undeveloped musical skills. As a music teacher, I want to develop the skills that will enable my students to make music for a lifetime. What is your favorite type of music? Classical, smooth jazz, Brazilian styles and Broadway What are your hobbies, besides music? Learning Spanish What is your favorite kind of food? Barbecue! Do you have any children?
